Dr Roline Barnes is a successful professional with a wealth of transferable skills gained in the academic and clinical environment. She is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physiotherapy, University of the Free State, and is currently the Head of the Physiotherapy Department. Her fields of interest include musculoskeletal rehabilitation, chronic diseases of lifestyle and quality of life.

As a dedicated, hardworking professional, she is able to balance multiple competing priorities, always striving for excellence, and is passionate towards providing top-quality graduates, health services and furthering scientific research in the profession.

As a committee member, she will strive to bring a strong sense of discipline, attention to detail, and a meticulous approach to assist with organizing the congress, ensuring that every aspect of the event is planned and executed to perfection.
