Insurance

• Conference participants are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance coverage for the duration of their attendance, including, where applicable, travel, medical or health, cancellation, and personal property insurance.
• The Conference Committee, hosts, organisers, Event Management company, and their respective representatives accept no responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, injury, illness, or expense incurred by any participant, sponsor, accompanying person, or other person attending the conference.
• Participants are responsible for ensuring that their insurance provides adequate coverage for their individual circumstances and requirements.

Liability

• The Conference Committee, hosts, organisers, and Event Management company shall not be liable for any death, injury, loss, damage, or expense incurred by any person in connection with the conference, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
• This includes, but is not limited to, any loss or damage arising from the acts, defaults, or omissions of third-party service providers, including local suppliers, venues, accommodation providers, transport operators, or other contractors.
• The Conference Committee, hosts, organisers, and Event Management company shall not be liable for any loss, delay, cancellation, disruption, or additional expense resulting from circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to:
  • war or threat of war;
  • riots, civil unrest, or terrorism;
  • natural disasters or adverse weather conditions;
  • fire, flood, or drought;
  • technical, mechanical, or electrical failures at the venue;
  • industrial disputes or strikes;
  • governmental actions, restrictions, or regulations; or
  • technical or other problems affecting services associated with the conference.
• The organisers reserve the right to alter the conference programme, speakers, panelists, venues, or arrangements where necessary and shall not be liable for any resulting inconvenience or expense.
• No guarantee is given that any particular speaker, presenter, or panelist will appear as scheduled.

Right of Admission

• The organisers reserve the right of admission to the conference and may refuse or withdraw admission where deemed necessary.
• Registration does not automatically guarantee admission where circumstances require the organisers to exercise this right.
