Who should apply to attend the #enrichED symposium on after school programmes? 

The intended target audience of the symposium is leaders who are shaping the extended education sector including those from all spheres of government, schools, non-governmental organisations, donor/funders and researchers focused on building the evidence base of the sector. 

The symposium is not aimed at beneficiaries of after school programmes, namely the learners, or the amazing people working with these learners on a daily basis – whether as volunteers or practitioners.

Note: Fringe events will be organised targeted specifically at practitioners, volunteers, and members of the public. 

What happens after I have applied to attend the symposium?

All applications will be considered by the #enrichED Symposium Organising Committee. Successful applicants will receive a registration pack and link to select their breakaway sessions. 

Is the symposium taking place for two full days on the 7th and 8th June?

Please allocate two full days for the symposium, including a short social event on the evening of Friday, 7th June.

Can I attend part of the symposium or must I attend the full event?

Ideally you should attend the full event. If for some reason this is not possible please send an email with the sessions you can/want to attend once the programme has been circulated. 

Is there any cost associated with the application to the #enrichED symposium?

There is no cost associated with the application.

Are there any costs associated with being a delegate at the symposium? 

Successful delegates will not have to pay any Symposium fee. Note: All costs related to travel and accommodation must be covered by the delegate themselves. 

How many delegates per organisation will be accepted to attend the symposium?

Due to space limitations the Organising Committee will limit participation per organisation. 

How can organisations showcase their work, activities and materials at the symposium?

Any interested individuals or organisations wishing to form part of the conference exhibition and experiential zone can complete the Exhibition Form on this website.

All information related to the Symposium or Fringe programme will be available on this website.
