Alberta Rockson is the Deputy Chief Physiotherapist, Rehabilitation Lead and a burns rehabilitation specialist with the National Surgery and Burns Center of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Ghana. She is also the Rehabilitation Lead for Interburns (UK) and Resurge Africa (UK), with a Masters in Disability, Rehabilitation and Development from KNUST (Ghana). Alberta is a reviewer of the Burns Chapter of Early Rehabilitation in Conflicts and Disasters and facilitates burns training within Africa and for UK Med.
Alberta served as President of the Ghana Physiotherapy Association (GPA) and is currently the National Chairperson (GPA). She is the General Secretary of World Physiotherapy Africa Region and also co-chair of the WRA Emergency Committee. Alberta enrolled as PhD student with the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa.
