Delegates will leave (by coach) from the Victoria Junction Hotel at 11:00am for a scenic tour to Groot Constantia Wine Estate where you will enjoy a wine tasting, followed by a scrumptious lunch. There will be an opportunity to explore the Manor House after lunch. The coaches will depart from 16h00 and return to the Vic Junction Hotel to allow guests the opportunity to freshen up before the Gala Dinner.

The tour Includes a wine tasting, lunch time refreshment and lunch. All extras are for delegate’s own account.

Porphyria Update

You can register for one session or both sessions. All in-persons will receive lunch and refreshments. No shows will be charged a R500 fee to cover catering costs. Patients and professionals will use the same link to register.

Please note: If you are attending the Wine tasting tour and lunch at Groot Constantia Wine Estate, this runs parallel. You can either attend the wine tasting and lunch or the Porphyria Update.

Accommodation

A block booking has been made at selected hotels from 15 - 23 April 2023.

Should you require extra nights or a double room, please indicate this in the special request section once you have selected your hotel and room type. The registration team will contact the hotel to confirm availability.

Summary

REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Payment terms:
All fees are payable in South African Rand (ZAR) within seven (7) days of invoice. Any short payment resulting from bank charges and/or exchange rate fluctuations will be charged to the participant.

Cancellations: 
  • Cancellations received in writing by 15 March 2023 will receive a full refund on registration fees less a 15% administration fee. 
  • Cancellations received in writing between 15 March - 3 April 2023 will receive a 50% refund on registration fees less a 15% administration fee. 
  • Cancellations received in writing after 3 April 2023 will result in full fees payment being due. 
  • We recommend transfer of registration to a new delegate to avoid cancellation fee. In the event of a cancellation, registrations are transferable to delegates not yet registered.

The information collected during registration will be used to communicate with you regarding your participation at this Symposium and/or to share industry-related information, including work undertaken by the UMHM on behalf of the industry they represent. You may unsubscribe at any time.

  • MasterCard or VISA payment: Process your payment immediately with your credit card.  
  • Pay upon invoice: EFT (South Africa only) or SWIFT (International):
    • Important notice: If paying by SWIFT (International), any short payment resulting from bank charges and/or exchange rate fluctuations will be charged to the participant. In order to avoid the fluctuation charge/bank charge, we suggest payment be processed via your credit card.
    • Clearly indicate the Invoice Number on bank transfers to facilitate the registration process. An official invoice will be emailed to you once you have completed your registration, indicating the bank account details.
    • Your invoice will be emailed to you once you have finalised your registration
