Terms and Conditions

Payment Terms

• All fees are payable in South African Rand (ZAR) within seven (7) days of the invoice date.

• Any short payment resulting from bank charges or exchange rate fluctuations will be charged to the participant.

• Alternatively, payment can be made immediately using Mastercard or Visa.

Payment Deadlines

• For discounted registration fees (e.g., Early Bird), if the payment deadline is missed, the Secretariat reserves the right to charge the next applicable fee level.

Cancellations

• Cancellations received in writing by 1 April 2026: Full refund less a 15% administration fee.

• Cancellations received between 1 April 2026 and 20 May 2026: 50% refund less a 15% administration fee.

• Cancellations received from 21 May 2026 onwards: Full fees are payable.

• Transfer of Registration: To avoid cancellation fees, registrations may be transferred to another delegate not yet registered.

• Important: No sharing of registrations is permitted.

Group Registrations

• If registering as a group, each participant must complete a separate registration form and provide a valid email address.

• For any changes to a registration, contact +27 (0)21 910 1913.

• Only fully prepaid registrations will be accepted by the organisers.

Insurance and Liability

Insurance

• Conference participants are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance coverage for their attendance, including personal health, travel, and property insurance.

• The conference organisers, hosts, and any individuals associated with the conference shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury to personal property, delegates, or sponsors.

Liability

• Neither the Conference Committee, hosts, nor the Event Management company accept liability for death, injury, loss, or expenses incurred by any person arising from acts, defaults, or omissions of any individual.

• This includes, but is not limited to, losses resulting from the provision or non-provision of services by local companies or transport operators.

• The Conference Committee, hosts, and Event Management company are not liable for losses caused by war, threat of war, riots, civil unrest, terrorism, natural disasters, adverse weather, fire, flood, drought, technical, mechanical or electrical failures at any venue, industrial disputes, governmental actions or regulations, or technical problems affecting services related to the conference.

• No warranty is given that any particular speaker or panelist will appear as scheduled.

Right of Admission

• The organisers reserve the right of admission to the conference.

Online Payments

Payment Confirmation

• Communication from the payment gateway to the Conference, whether successful or not, may take up to 5 minutes.

• If the payment has not been deducted, you will be redirected to the registration payment page.

Successful Payment

• You will receive an email notification with a PDF attachment confirming your registration payment. Please save this email for your records.

Useful Tips

• Ensure your account has sufficient funds before making a payment.

• Payment Cancelled: If your payment is cancelled after reaching the gateway, you will be returned to the registration payment page to try again.

• Payment Declined: Reasons may include incorrect card credentials, incorrect OTP, insufficient funds, or reaching your card’s maximum spend limit.

• Do not close the browser before returning to the online confirmation page or use the back button while making a payment.

Send invoice - Bank Transfer

• An automated invoice will be sent to your registered email address.

• Important: Unpaid registrations are not confirmed.

• All bank charges are the responsibility of the payer.

• The full amount must be received in the Conference bank account to confirm registration.
